We've just added "Simply Organic Color" to our ever growing list of services. I've tested it for a few weeks now and I'm getting good results. This is great color for stylists because it cuts down on our ammonia exposure and for you because it has significantly less ingredients than your average haircolor line.
The biggest difference is that it is missing the viscosity (thickening agents) of regular haircolor. Thickeners include plastics and waxes that are just not so great for you. Also, instead of Ammonia it uses MEA's which keeps the salon air cleaner and the smell down. The jury is out on MEA's so we really don't know if it's better for you than ammonia or not, but it sure improves the air quality.
